The idea:

The scoovel was initially designed by both Neville Kavanagh & Kevin Ward one autumn day after a large hedge clipping operation. With tonnes of leaves being scrapped and gathered into piles and then loaded into wheelbarrows it was queried by the two guys as to how a more efficient method could be devised. Within an hour a mark one scoovel appeared as a tool combining a mix of a shovel and a scoop! Hence the scoovel was born, modified and adopted to its present form. An essential implement for all sheds and one which will in time be as well known as the famous shovel!
